We are having a wonderful, warm, windless autumn here in central Wyoming, but the days are getting noticeably shorter and winter isn’t far away. My mind is already turning to plans for next spring’s landscaping efforts.

My planning always includes looking for resources of native plants, drought tolerant plants and ground covers suitable for my Wyoming climate. I think I am going to enjoy browsing through a website I found today:  Cindi’s Catalog of Garden Catalogs.

What could be better than a central listing of gardening and landscaping catalogs for those soon coming long winter evenings? I enjoy the experience of leafing through a colorful plant catalog, so I’m sure I’ll be sending away for hard copy gardening catalogs when they are available, and browsing nursery websites when they aren’t.
